The community of Nigerian researchers and practitioners in the Diaspora possesses a considerable pool of artificial intelligence and robotics expertise. The mission of the Applied Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Lab is to serve as a vehicle to fuse that collective Diaspora expertise and burgeoning local capacity to raise the quality and audacity of AI and robotics research and development nationally, towards long-term goals of (a) making original and valuable contributions to the body of knowledge (b) providing innovative, efficient and effective solutions to national and international problems.
